Confessions of military Wife

I am proud to say that my husband is a marine officer!! He has chosen to be one of the few and the proud, and he has proven himself worthy of this position! He is an amazing man, and I am very proud of him. There is a lot about the military, however, that many people don't tell you, or warn you about. For this reason, I am very glad that I found this book!
If you are a military wife, or are just curious about the military life, then you need to read this book!! Confessions of a Military Wife provides great comic relief, while giving a military wife all of the heads up that most people don't tell you! She includes vey humorous stories about her experiences, and it is a great book to just sit back and read. It is also very easy to skip around, so if you don't feel like reading front to back, you don't have to! Skip a section and come back to it when you feel like it. I first began reading this book while my husband was at TBS (the basic school). I got it from another marine wife at the time, and I am so thankful I did! I found out that I wasn't alone in a lot of the things I was going through and it was very encouraging.
This is a must read for those of you who are going to be military wives!! It is also a great read for those who are related to those associated with the military or just good comic relief for those who are seasoned a bit and have been in for a while. Confessions of a Military Wife will have you crying and laughing all at the same time!! You don't want to miss this one!!

Hunger Games Trilogy

The The Hunger Games Trilogy is an amazing story that is unlike any other. When it was written, it brought a whole new idea to fiction! Now, many people are branching off with a similiar story plot as a result of this phenomenon. I'm sure many of you have already seen the first movie in this series, even if you haven't read the book and they are both fantastic! I will always be biased to the book, b/c a movie just can't portray the images my mind has made and it usually dissapoints in some way!! The first book, The Hunger Games is so great. Catnis portrays a woman who is a hero for not only her family, but also her district. She proves how strog she is as two contestants from each district are chosen to fight to death until there is only one person standing.
This is a very contraversial story, and it is not meant for a young reader as it is very graphic, but it is very well written and it was so refreshing to have a different kind of plot that was so new that you can't help but continue to read to find out more.
The second book in this series, "Catching Fire," continues right on from the end of the first book set. It throws a twist in, and from the get go it has you hooked! Nobody expects it, but the precious winners are chosen to go into the ring this time. It is so contraversial and the people of Panem love it!! Catniss and Pita are forced to go into the ring again, and it is unlike anything they could have ever expected!!
I am acutally still reading the last book in this series. My husband accidentally shipped it to Japan already, so I'm trying to make it a goal to wait until we get there to finish reading it. I can honestly say though, that this book has me a little confused. The districs go to war in this series, and I am very curious to see how the whole thing turns out!!
Check out these books!! You won't be dissapointed. The Hunger Games Trilogy has it all: action, adventure, romance, etc.! It caters to every audience and it won't leave you dissapointed!

The boy who came back from Heaven

My husband and I had to make a long trip to go see family over the Thanksgiving holiday and we had always thought about maybe renting a book on tape for the ride just b/c it can get so boring sometimes, and the radio is always changing as you go through different areas and such. So, we went to the local Crackerbarrel and rented a book on CD!! We rented the book, The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven. My husband and I are both Christians, and these kinds of books kind of intrigue us. We were very curious what it would be about so we got it!
First off, it wasn't very long. It was only about a 5 hour long book for our trip, so depending on how fast you read, it wouldn't take that long to read. Secondly, it was a bit different than what we were expecting. We thought it would be more about what heaven was like, and more of the childs experiences, but most of the book was from his father's perspective. Thirdly, it was really cool to hear how this child survived this accident and then told his story of meeting God, and then how he also was able to see and speak with angels.
This was a very moving book, and I think that if you ever have any doubts about God, angels and demons, or anything else related to that, than this might be a great book for you! It shows that angels are real, and that miracles really do happen all around us! I'm sure this book is in your local library or bookstore, but if you don't have one nearby, you can go to amazon and get it for real cheap! It would make a great holiday gift, or personal gift! You can click on this link, The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven, and it will take you to Amazon if you wish!
Thanks, and I do hope you will read this book!

Fifty Shades Darker

I just finished the second book in the Fifty Shades Trilogy, "Fifty Shades Darker." It is the second book after "Fifty Shades of Gray." I have to say, I think I like it better than the first one which I didn't think was possible!! The author took their relationship further and it went to a place that I didn't look could exist for Ana and Christian!! I spent four hours in Barnes & Noble today b/c I couldn't stop reading it!!
It is a love story like I have never heard before. It is unique, it is erotic, and it very unpredictable! I found myself rooting for them the whole time despite all of the F'd up stuff that Christian is into. The second book reveals more of Christian's demons and it is amazing to see how he changes throughout the book and how the help of a relationship can cure him in ways he didn't even know was possible! It also has a surprise conflict that is very interesting and causes Christian to realize his love for Ana and has Ana wondering if she can have a relationship with Christian, or if she is out of her league in this one.
I don't want to give away too much to those who haven't read it yet b/c nobody likes a spoiler! But it really is a great book! It will have you wanting more (and not just more of the book :p) and you wont be able to stop until you're finished. I don't always have this with books and it sometimes takes me a while to get throught them, but I did not have that with this one. I was finished in two days! The Fifty Shades Trilogy will have you hooked from the beginning and I cannot wait to start the last book and figure out how this amazing love story ends!!

Believe in God?

I have been a Christian all my life. I had the priviledge of growing up in a Christian home, and having Bible stories told to me as a child. However, not everyone is that fortunate and many people do not know about my wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This is a very obtuse subject that I could talk about for days, and there just isn't enough time to express all of my feelings about God and Christianity. If you have questions about Christianity, please ask and I will do my best to answer. I am no theologian, but I do read the Bible regularly. The Bible is the first spot to go to if you want to know about God. It shows how He created our world in six days as well as shows how we should live our lives, shows the birth of our Savior and how he died and overcame hell to save us from our sins so that we might receive eternal life once we die.
As I said, the Bible is the first place you want to go to find out about God, b/c it is the true, and inspired Word of God. However, there are many books out there that discuss furthur what Christianity and God are about and for those of you who are sceptical about God, then I encourage you to read this book, "Able to prove God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Bible to be Fact!" It will hopefully answer any of your questions and help you realize that you need God in your life to live eternally in Heaven with God. This is an ebook, so here is the link to the book! http://0c78b87d8jg6gw3mwapbhb9akq.hop.clickbank.net/

Be a Great Tutor!!

I graduated with an education degree in 2011 and unfortunately (because my husband is in the military), I have not been able to have my own classroom! This was a big bummer at first, but then I thought, I did a lot of tutoring in college and I love helping kids! So, even though I didn't have my own classroom as I wanted, there was still a way that I could be involved with teaching and helping kids!
I am currently working as a tutor with Sylvan learning and I absolutely love it!! Sylvan is a great program and I would reccomend it to many families and students who are struggling! Tutoring is a great occupation and can bevery profitable, but there are lots of tricks to it that not everybody knows! This book helps you be the best tutor that you can be! And it is not only great for tutors, but teachers can really benefit from this book as well! I mean, teachers are tutors too and if you think you have all the secrets than you are horribly wrong!!! For those of you who are teachers and tutors or who are even hoping to become one some day, check this book out!

Fifty Shades of Gray

I love this book!! It took a lot of encouraging for me to actually read it b/c I had heard so much about it. I had some friends telling me that it was wrong to read something like that because it is basically "girl porn", and I had other friends who were telling me I had to read it and that it made their marriages and sex lives even better!
I had a lot of emotions going on before I read this book and I was excited and scared at the same time b/c I didn't know what I was getting myself into! I am not familiar with the world of S&M and I was a little afraid of what I was going to be exposed to, but yet the idea of it was so exciting as well!!!
I finally made the plunge and I loved it!! I found myself wanting to keep reading and couldn't put it down! It was erotic and sexy as well as mysterious and a beautiful love story. There are vivid passages, but there is a lot more to the book than just sex. It is a real and complicated love story that is irresistable!! Take the plunge as I did and try it out! You can always stop reading if you don't like it :)
Please let me know how you feel about this book or if you are wanting to read it and have questions! Thanks! Do
