Hunger Games Trilogy

The The Hunger Games Trilogy is an amazing story that is unlike any other. When it was written, it brought a whole new idea to fiction! Now, many people are branching off with a similiar story plot as a result of this phenomenon. I'm sure many of you have already seen the first movie in this series, even if you haven't read the book and they are both fantastic! I will always be biased to the book, b/c a movie just can't portray the images my mind has made and it usually dissapoints in some way!! The first book, The Hunger Games is so great. Catnis portrays a woman who is a hero for not only her family, but also her district. She proves how strog she is as two contestants from each district are chosen to fight to death until there is only one person standing.
This is a very contraversial story, and it is not meant for a young reader as it is very graphic, but it is very well written and it was so refreshing to have a different kind of plot that was so new that you can't help but continue to read to find out more.
The second book in this series, "Catching Fire," continues right on from the end of the first book set. It throws a twist in, and from the get go it has you hooked! Nobody expects it, but the precious winners are chosen to go into the ring this time. It is so contraversial and the people of Panem love it!! Catniss and Pita are forced to go into the ring again, and it is unlike anything they could have ever expected!!
I am acutally still reading the last book in this series. My husband accidentally shipped it to Japan already, so I'm trying to make it a goal to wait until we get there to finish reading it. I can honestly say though, that this book has me a little confused. The districs go to war in this series, and I am very curious to see how the whole thing turns out!!
Check out these books!! You won't be dissapointed. The Hunger Games Trilogy has it all: action, adventure, romance, etc.! It caters to every audience and it won't leave you dissapointed!
